2017 was a special year for Allegheny Equine. It marked 25 years since Dr. James Zeliff founded the business as a solo practitioner. The practice has grown and expanded services over the years and we took this opportunity to reflect on where the business started, how far it has come and to celebrate Dr. Zeliff’s success.
Spring will be here soon! It will be time for vaccinations and preparing for the next riding season. Here at Allegheny Equine we are aware that the cost of preventative care for your horse increases each year. Knowing that finances play a role in our clients’ decisions, we are we created this program we hope will save you money and still allow your horses to benefit from very important annual preventative health care procedures.
Do you ever wish your horse could talk? There are probably at least a dozen topics that you would love to discuss with your horse if that were the case. But is wellness a topic that comes to mind? The lack of verbal communication often makes it more difficult for owners and veterinarians to monitor overall health and changes over time. No one likes going to the doctor, but annual physical examinations are an important component to the overall wellness status of your horse. These exams aid your veterinarian in determining your horse’s baseline health parameters and in monitoring any changes that occur in the future.
Join us for a discussion on options for decreasing exposure to your and your horse and the diseases that most concern us. Come bring your experiences and questions about Ticks! The seminar is open to everyone and free of charge. RSVPs are very appreciated but not required. Seating is first come, first serve. Refreshments will be provided.
